Michelle Thompson

Michelle Thompson has been creating custom window treatments for more than 20 years. Her career began with a love of interior design and an appreciation for the artistry behind custom fabrication. She started as a seamstress for Arizona drapery designer Linda Tully, where she upholstered cornices and learned fabrication from the ground up. That training continues to shape her approach today: every panel, shade and cornice produced in her Phoenix workroom is built to measure and finished by hand. Thompson founded Interior Home Designs in 2012 and has spent the last 14 years helping clients across the Valley bring their rooms together. She guides projects from initial concept through installation, including consultation, fabric selection, custom hardware, precise measuring, fabrication and professional installation. Her Bachelor of Arts in interpersonal communications supports her client-focused approach and ability to turn ideas into thoughtfully finished spaces. Her goal is simple: for every finished room to feel as though it was made specifically for the client.
