Kari Culberson

Kari Culberson is a textile designer and sewist specializing in contemporary hand-blocked textiles. She holds a master’s degree in interior design from Florida State University. Combining her design, textile and sewing skills, Culberson creates beautiful, well-made, functional goods for the home. She works primarily with high-quality 100% linen, valued for its durability, softness, ability to take color and versatility for window coverings, pillows and upholstery. Inspired by design history and traditional printing methods, Culberson thoughtfully develops each pattern and hand-carves the initial block for every design. She creates her textiles from her home studio in Decatur, Georgia, bringing together traditional techniques and contemporary design for distinctive home furnishings.
