Recognizing the best design and construction of custom window fashions, the 33rd annual Grace Design & Artisan Awards (formerly known as the VISION Design & Workroom Competition), along with presenting sponsor Rollease Acmeda, presented the awards at a gala ceremony at the 2024 International Window Coverings Expo (IWCE) in Grapevine, Texas.
A fresh, new format mirrored the Academy Awards, where the top three nominees were acknowledged and the one winner of the category was announced. Elegance and entertainment were contributed by co-hosts David Santiago and Sara Lynn Brennan. David Santiago is the owner and interior designer of Casa Santi Interior Design in New Jersey. Sara Lynn Brennan is the owner of Sara Lynn Brennan Interiors in Waxhaw, North Carolina.
Linda H. Bassert, Design Principal at Masterworks Window Fashion & Design, LLC, from Fairfax, Virginia, was awarded the coveted Designer of the Year title. Sheri Stouffer, of Finishing Touches in Castle Pines, Colorado, was presented with the Artisan of the Year award.
