VICKY SERANY

Vicky Serany is the founder and principal designer of Southern Studio Interior Design, a
nationally recognized firm based in Cary, North Carolina. For over two decades, she has led
her team in creating livable luxury interiors that reflect a casually sophisticated aesthetic
defined by thoughtful blends of texture, pattern and color. With projects spanning the East
Coast, Southern Studio is celebrated for its expertise in both primary and vacation homes, as
well as renovations that breathe new life into cherished spaces.
Vicky’s work has been featured in numerous local and national publications, and her
leadership has earned industry recognition, including Southern Living’s Designer of the
Year (2020) and Women of Western Wake by Cary Magazine (2019). In addition to leading
her firm, she actively mentors emerging designers, sharing her experience to help shape the
next generation of creative leaders.
In collaboration with her family, Vicky co-founded Home for Entertaining, a lifestyle venture
that celebrates meaningful gatherings, extending her design philosophy into the art of
hospitality and connection. Beyond design, Vicky is committed to community impact. She
has served on the Board of Directors for The Green Chair Project, including a recent term as
chair, and supports numerous local nonprofits focused on home and education.
